About-face
So, I’m back at the Big Apple City! And this time, it’s for a long span of time. I don’t wanna use the word “for good”, that scares me! After coming here every now and then from school break in the Philippines, I’m eventually here already… living.
I may not want to leave my hometown, but I finally decided to give my mom the “yes” of staying here with her. My mom and I are away for almost a decade. So, I gave it a chance for her to feel being a mother of a teenager, since I’m still 18 and soon to be adult. (LOL, let’s see if she can handle the cruel pain in the ass of having a teenager around. kidding!)
I just got back last May 22, and I’m already a week plus being a resident here. I’m still looking for a job and currently seizing the feeling of being a home buddy which drove me to blog.
I’m excited and frightened of what awaits me here. Like I don’t know, Imma go to a community college and finish an associate course. I’m frightened. I’m excited. Of what I’ll be doing, who will I be meeting, what will I be like. Everything. Everything actually. At the same time, I’m frightened and excited about the changes in my hometown after I left, the city, people, friends, and the love I left there. So I hope y’all would help me pray and wish me luck in my new journey.
